yesterday was youth day celebration. needless to say, the 'concert' [if you can call that pathetic halfhearted effort by the teachers as a concert- hell, we put in more effort for them on teachers day and still have to put up with their normal school day shit!] wasnt up to standard [like everything our school does]. but then. heh. shall play my role as an understanding student- i know that it's hard for teachers to get together and come up with a decent script for a play as they all are busy imparting their knowlegde to students during SSP lessons. heeh. yeah.
oh, in addition, our school came up with 'be-yourself-day'. an excuse to wear home clothes to school, within expected restrictions. it was better than last year. alas, they still had a theme. this year's was easier- 'stripes, checkered, polka dots, sky sensation [translate: anything blue], belt it, scarf it [dont ask me why have to sound so 'wow']'. at least one can display more of themselves in their clothing as a simple belt would have you passing the theme. better than last year's 'denim revolution', which was absolute crap. anyhow. woke up early and met eunice, going to school together. it felt weird not to be dressed in school uniform. heheh. was dressed for going to town later on for pool. lols. upon reaching school, it was quite an experience seeing everyone in their home clothes rather than the uniformed white and green or white and white. hahas. quite easy to distinguish the lower secondary from the upper secondary [they tend to dress the same while upper sec had more style. opps, my bad. sorry to offend anyone =D] hee. funnily, the whole class turned up in home clothes- wasnt expecting it as this wearing home clothes thing was decided only after school on tuesday. kinda impromptu? hahas. anyhow. it was quite a shock to see all of us to enthu. =X hahas. really wasnt expecting it. anyhow. teachers came and teached but we werent really listening, i guess. lols. followed by that pathetic 'concert' before meeting up with everyone [shiokping, wenna, huifang, zhenwen, eunice] at 2 and making our way down to dhoby gaut. ate long john silvers. and went down to parklane. bumped into lydia and tanny- ended up having 8 people for pool. lols. 8girls, around 16, playing pool- quite a rare sight? lols. booked 2 tables. was quite happy as i was on form and luck was with me. managed to thrash eunice 6balls this time round. hmm. had countless matches. hahas. very fun. whee! hee. after most of the people left, me eunice and wenna went to paradiz centre the arcade and find avril anna and hai yee. me and wenna had sharing. told her about him. hhahas. not exactly the HIM him, but the him him. lols. =] closer bonds. hahhas!
